Michael Tumolo is a native of Syracuse, New York and was an undergraduate member of Delta Chi at both The Ohio State University and Syracuse University. At Ohio State, Tumolo was a Founding Father and served as Colony "A" President, Associate Member Counselor and Chairmen of the Chartering and Recruitment Committees.
After returning to Syracuse, Tumolo served as Chapter "A" President and "E" Alumni Relations and also was the Chairman of Community Service Committee. Tumolo was a Charter member at Syracuse and graduated with a dual major in Economics and Public Administration. While at Syracuse, Tumolo served as Vice-President and delegate of the InterFraternity Council and was a two-year undergraduate member of the Delta Chi Law Committee. Also at Syracuse, Tumolo was named Brother of the Year in 2006 and was a recipient of the Borelli Leadership award, presented by the Delta Chi Educational Foundation. In 2006, Tumolo was named the Outstanding "A" of Region VII.
Upon graduating from Syracuse, Tumolo served as Vice-Regents of Region V and VII. of Region VII. He is the Past "BB" at Cornell University and currently serves as a member of their Alumni Board of Trustees and is the Resident Director of the Knoll. Tumolo is an Ambassador of the Delta Chi Educational Foundation and serves on the three-member Investment Advisory Committee. In 2007, Tumolo was recognized as a recipient of the Delta Chi Meritorious Service Award.
In non-Delta Chi related work, Tumolo was named the Volunteer of the Year in 2003 by the Alzhiemers Association of Central New York and a Morgan Stanley Top 10 Volunteer of the Year in 2004. In 2005, Tumolo was recognized as a "Top 40 under 40" Business professional in Central New York. Tumolo currently serves as a Member of the Board of Director of The Country Club of Ithaca.
